IR OVEN

Infrared Slab Drying Oven
IR OVEN is an inline radiant heating system designed to dry slabs after polishing and before the application of filler or resin.

Description & Technical Details

IR OVEN is an inline radiant heating system designed to dry slabs after polishing and before the application of filler or resin. It rapidly removes residual surface moisture and prepares the slab for a more reliable filling process. The oven uses electrically powered infrared heating elements with ceramic plates to transfer heat directly to the slab surface. This focused heating method provides rapid response and avoids the need to heat a large chamber volume. The heating area is divided into independently controlled sections. Individual sections can be activated or deactivated automatically according to the slab length and conveyor speed, helping reduce unnecessary energy consumption when processing shorter slabs or operating at different production rates. The closed, arc-welded steel structure is installed directly over a variable-speed roller conveyor. Upper insulation limits heat loss and helps concentrate radiant energy within the effective treatment area. The oven is supplied with an electrical cabinet and an integrated operator control panel.
