MANTA-U

MANTA-U is an automatic tilting system designed to transfer natural-stone slabs from a horizontal processing line onto A-frame storage trolleys or supports. The machine receives the slab from the production-line conveyor and positions it on the unloading table. During the unloading cycle, the slab is retained and controlled by hydraulically operated holding mechanisms while the table tilts progressively towards the A-frame. Once the slab is correctly positioned against the A-frame, the retaining mechanisms release it and the machine returns to its initial horizontal position for the next unloading cycle. The rail movement, tilting table and complete unloading sequence are automatically managed through a PLC-based control system incorporating sensors and an integrated operator interface. MANTA-U provides controlled and repeatable slab placement, reducing manual handling and limiting impact during transfer to the storage frame.
