Resin Application
SLAB STORAGE UNIT
Multi-Level Buffer Station for Epoxy Settling
Slab Storage (PBU01) is an open multi-level buffer station designed to hold marble or granite slabs after epoxy application and before the following curing stage.
Description & Technical Details
Slab Storage is an open multi-level buffer station designed to hold marble or granite slabs after epoxy application and before the following curing stage. The temporary holding period allows the applied epoxy to settle evenly on the slab surface and begin its initial gelation. This helps stabilise the resin before the slab is transferred to the curing oven or the next processing station.
The standard unit consists of seven vertically arranged tray levels. One level remains unoccupied during operation to allow the slab trays to circulate and return within the system. An internal vertical lifting mechanism moves up and down, aligns with the selected level and enables the trays to enter or leave the storage positions automatically.
Slab Storage provides controlled intermediate storage within an automated resin-treatment line, helping coordinate the operating cycles of the resin-application station, handling equipment and curing oven.
