Resin Application
VACUUM ROOM
Inline Vacuum Chamber for Enhanced Resin Penetration
VAC01 is an inline vacuum chamber designed to improve resin penetration into cracks, pores and cavities in natural-stone slabs during the resin-treatment process.
Description & Technical Details
VAC01 is an inline vacuum chamber designed to improve resin penetration into cracks, pores and cavities in natural-stone slabs during the resin-treatment process. By reducing the pressure inside the sealed chamber, trapped air is extracted from open defects within the stone. This supports deeper and more consistent resin penetration, particularly in slabs with pronounced fissures, cavities or porous areas.
The chamber is built from a rigid, vacuum-tight arc-welded steel structure. Pneumatically operated locking systems seal the chamber automatically during the treatment cycle and release it once the required vacuum process has been completed.
An upper and lower conveyor system transfers the slab together with its supporting tray through the chamber. The motor-driven conveyor rollers incorporate reduced-contact polymer discs, limiting contact with the slab tray while ensuring controlled material movement.
The integrated vacuum-generation system includes pumps and filtration equipment selected for continuous industrial operation. Vacuum Room can be installed directly between the resin-application and curing stages of an automated marble or granite treatment line.
