RESINBOT II is a multi-axis robotic system designed for the automatic application and spreading of resin and other compatible treatment products on natural-stone slabs. Its servo-controlled linear movements provide fast, precise and repeatable application across the slab surface. The programmable operating structure allows the application path, working area and roller movement to be adapted to different slab formats, material thicknesses and process requirements.
RESINBOT can be integrated with an external resin dosing and pumping system. A slab-mapping system may also be added according to the required level of automation. This modular arrangement allows the application robot, dosing equipment and slab-detection technology to be configured according to the production line.
The machine operates through four coordinated axes:
X Axis: The main welded-steel structure supports the transverse movement system and provides rigidity across the full working area.
Y Axis: A lightweight aluminium-profile bridge carries the resin application and spreading unit, supporting rapid and accurate movement across the slab.
Z Axis: The application head moves vertically to adapt to different slab thicknesses and working heights.
C Axis: The application roller can rotate continuously, allowing it to follow different programmed paths and maintain the required orientation during spreading.
The combined movement of the four axes enables consistent resin distribution over irregular slab shapes while reducing dependence on manual application.

Slab Mapping System
An optional slab-mapping system can identify the effective treatment area and coordinate the robot path with the slab dimensions and position. This helps limit application outside the stone surface and supports more efficient resin use.
