Resin Treatment Lines
5-Tower Cyclic Resin Line
Extended-Curing Resin Line for Direct Polishing Integration
ION Meccanica's most advanced resin-treatment architecture.
Description & Technical Details
The 5 Tower Resin Line is ION Meccanica's most advanced resin-treatment architecture. It adds an additional thermal-curing tower to the four-tower process, increasing the time that treated slabs remain under controlled temperature and airflow conditions before polishing.
The fifth tower is not principally intended to increase hourly throughput beyond the three- or four-tower standard configuration. Its main purpose is to provide extended controlled curing residence time so that epoxy polymerisation can progress further inside the line.
This can reduce or eliminate the conventional requirement to unload slabs after resin treatment, store them externally for continued curing and reload them later onto the polishing line. The additional-tower concept forms the thermal foundation of ION ONEFLOW and enables direct connection between resin treatment and polishing.
